I bet Grandpa was waiting with open arms my brother. She was there for him in every way she could be, from offering advice to sending him home with a bunch of snacks for his lunchbox. While living in Sidney, his Auntie Kay played a very influential role in his life. They were brothers, creating chaos from the time they were very little. ![]() Although biologically Hunter was his cousin, he was more than that to Colton. He wholeheartedly loved that little girl.įor the past 6 months, Colton lived in Sidney, moving in with Hunter and working at Sidney Sugars as a welder. He was so looking forward to buying her first dirt bike, taking her fishing, and showing her all the things, a proud uncle would. I’ve never seen him more proud of anything. When he became an uncle to Taylee Jo, it was the highlight of his life, there was no question when she came into this world, he had a new partner in crime. His sister, Shelby, and him were very close and had a bond that was unbreakable. Colton shared a very close relationship with Grandpa Bob-they always found ways to pick on grandma. His biggest pride in life was his family and he tried so many times to be the glue that held it all together after his grandpa Bob passed away. He’d bring random animals’ home that he had found, and it drove his mom nuts.Ĭolton had a tremendous love for dirt bikes, loved to fish, and mechanicing on all his pickups, he had a true passion for the cowboy way of life, and enjoyed partaking in brandings. Colton would spend most summers and weekends with his dad, Cody. ![]() He was always tearing stuff apart, just to put it back together again. His cousin Rachel and him were always getting into some sort of trouble-a bond that remained close all the way up until his departure. From the time he was born, there was mischief to be had. ![]() His smile most definitely lit up every room he walked in to. He had a sense of humor that was out of this world and could make anyone laugh with some of the most random things he’d say or do. Gracing us with his presence on December 28th, 1996, it was never a dull moment from that point forward. Colton Joseph Burman, or Pistol as Grandpa Jack liked to call him, blessed us with a beautiful 25 short years. On Monday, October 17th, 2022, God called one of his strongest soldier’s home. ![]()
